Sophie’s passion for hair dressing started when she was 16 and in college. Feeling lost at the end of secondary school (like so many of us do), she took up a weekend job at a hairdressers and it was here that her love began. Being in the environment where it all happened, she could see the difference one hair appointment could make. It’s not just the physical change but it’s the unofficial therapy session that comes with it. You build so many meaningful relationships with your client as a successful hairdresser and this is something that Sophie has carried into her own work. Being trusted by a client to make their hair dreams come true is at the heart of everything Sophie does and is a honour she’s proud to carry. Sophie’s salon opened in 2020, merely three days before we were thrown into a lockdown. It was a tough start but this meant that when businesses returned, she came back stronger than ever. 

When it comes to awards, Sophie doesn’t do that in half measures either! She was a finalist for the Hair and Beauty Awards in 2022; she also received an award from the Good Salon Guide for the upheld standards within her work. Sophie’s salon offers a one-to-one luxury home salon, boasting an impressive selection of high-end services. The relaxed environment can be customised to you, should you need a more calming appointment to soothe nerves or a pumped up salon to get you hyped for the weekend. Sophie offers a range of services such as your classic trim, to revitalising hair treatments. Using products such as olaplex, you’ll leave feeling uplifted and over the moon with your new look.The ultimate end goal for Sophie’s salon is to be a recognised brand in supermarkets. Having her own hair care range and selection of hair accessories, which you can already see flying off the shelves in her salon.
